Ohio has among the most natural gas pipelines in country, research shows
Ohio is home to the fourth-most natural gas pipelines in the country, according to a calculation by an industry trade group. The state had about 24,066 miles of gathering line in 2015, ranking it behind Texas’ 133,136, Oklahoma’s 48,138 and Pennsylvania’s 26,536. . . .Gathering lines take oil or gas from a well site to a collection point, and are smaller than the larger lines that transmit oil and gas across state lines.
